Sunday "Gassers" at AMPS 1 Month ago Karma: 8
Well today was a lot of fun with the "Gassers" crew at AMPS. The regulars Mike, Ken Craig and myself got things rolling right at 7:30. The weather at the start was simply beautiful but got a bit windy AGAIN around 10:30 or so.

I got in 4 more flights on my new Dietrich with KenG helping me on the controls. I'm getting a great perspective on the attributes of how the plane reacts with the radio from Ken...and also the control surfaces as changes are made to the aircraft with the different kinds of flying tecniques. I got in a lot of circles and figure 8’s and I’m starting to get the hang of just how sensitive the plane can be but at the same time, smooth as glass when your settings are right. Again, thanks much Ken for your help and understanding as I progress.

Here are a few shots of the crew and aircraft…

What a Crew...always working!

Right On Guys! Nice Sunday morning for sure!
